Other Pendants

poetry+rivet+etching+silver

This is a pendant that has been etched with words from a dictionary. The page of the dictionary was waxed first and then photocopied so that the words can't be read (this is meant to be mysterious!)
A page from a vintage dictionary was then varnished (to protect it) and then riveted (labour of love) into the setting.

The shape of this pendant was inspired by a winder for a grandfather clock.

This "poetry" pendant has been created by taking a section of a page from a vintage dictionary which was then varnished (to protect it) and then riveted into the setting.

The shape of this pendant was inspired by a winder for a grandfather clock

This pendant was made for an exhibition with the Cheltenham Group of Artists "Celebrating Shakespeare" exhibition.

It is made with silver that has been cast after I made the original based on chicken vertebrae (...don't ask - it's a long story...)

I have set a piece of blue glass in the middle.

It has blue and white beads making up the neckpiece.

It's difficult to see from the picture but this is a box type pendant. The stone is turquoise. I etched the back because I like the back to be as interesting as the front (see below)

The reverse side of the pendant above has been etched with words from a dictionary. The page of the dictionary was waxed first and then photocopied so that the words can't be read (again... mysterious...(hopefully))

As above but the rear view

This is a sterling silver box pendant with a jade cubic zircona set in it. I have etched the reverse - again this is to make the back interesting as well as the front.

-This is the back of the above pendant -

This is a sterling silver pendant that I made by etching the words taken from a clock inside. This shows the days of the week in German and English. I have made this pendant identical on the front and the back and set it so that it will spin.

It has  carnelian bead set in the middle

As above but different angle
